Gypsy Village Outreach
During our second week in Romania, our team will take a trip to several Gypsy villages along the border of Hungary. It is not unusual for us to visit four different villages throughout the day.
Under the direction of missionaries Brent and Sara George, we’ll begin our work on Saturday with a youth outreach activity. On Sunday, we’ll visit Gypsy village churches to give testimonies, preach, sing specials, and lead children’s Bible lessons and song time.
Church Ministry
Sundays are busy on the field as we visit two or three different villages and conduct services both for children and adults. These services provide many opportunities for teaching, games, music, and preaching.
Team Preparation
Beginning in November, we hold team meetings to help team members learn some of the language and prepare for ministry activities like singing, teaching Bible lessons, giving object lessons and illusions, and making balloon animals.
