Romani Village Outreach
Our two-week trip to Romania is divided into two distinct ministry opportunities.
In the first week, we partner with a local church in Sânmihaiu Almașului, where we assist with VBS programs, games, and Bible teaching for local children and teens.
During the second week, our team travels to Romani villages near Satu Mare, under the direction of Brent and Sara George. We’ll visit up to four villages a day, teaching children, encouraging believers, and helping with village church services through preaching, testimony, and music.
Church Ministry
Sundays are busy on the field as we visit two or three different villages and conduct services both for children and adults. These services provide many opportunities for teaching, games, music, and preaching.
Team Preparation
Beginning in November, team meetings help members prepare spiritually and practically. You’ll begin learning basic Romanian, plan Bible lessons, rehearse songs, practice object lessons and balloon animals, and—depending on your strengths—assist in preaching, game coaching, or logistics.
