Despite rain each day, the boys and girls have come to camp at the local school’s auditorium, some even arriving before we arrive. After some initial play time outside showing the team members to get to know the children a bit better, everyone gathers inside, as Brother Ruben leads them through some Romanian songs and prayer. It’s then time for more singing with the American team (songs in English and Romanian) before a Bible lesson given my one of our students on the life of Joshua. After the lesson and a review game, it’s more songs and into craft time.
We’re thankful for these mornings in Santa Maria and the children that have faithfully come. On Friday morning, their parents are invited to come and Ruben’s dad will have opportunity to give them the gospel in Romanian.
